Notice on the Latest Operation Requirements of DHL Channel Battery Cargo in 2017

Dear Customer!

With immediate effect, Hong Kong DHL channels shipped with built-in lithium battery (PI967 / PI970) operating requirements are updated as follows:

First, all shipped with built-in lithium battery of goods, packaging must comply with IATA38.3 standard;

Second, when the built-in lithium battery cargo to meet any of the following conditions, the goods are required to provide MSDS, the outer box to paste the battery label:

1) no more than two pieces of goods per vote, but each package more than two batteries or four batteries;

2) As long as more than two pieces of goods per vote, even if each package is not more than two batteries or four batteries.

Third, when the built-in lithium battery goods to meet any of the following conditions, the exemption of the battery label:

1) not more than two pieces of goods per vote, and each package is not more than two batteries or four batteries, and the battery installed in the device;

2) The package contains only coin cell batteries and installed in the device (including the circuit board).

Above please know and communicate with each other to ensure that all goods with the relevant information in line with regulations. If the goods with the battery, and not to declare, or with the battery does not meet the requirements of the information, the goods will be the service provider withholding, and mandatory requirements of the consignor to retrieve, the resulting delivery fee, the consignor bear. I will be submitted to the service provider before the audit information is not one by one, if not verified by the truthful reporting or information errors, etc., will be on the red cargo, concealed handling, risk compensation standards imposed by the extension of Division I November 3, 2016 Release, and retain the relevant legal recourse.

Charging fees:

1,30KG within the collection RMB100 / times;

2,300kgs or less RMB200 / time, more than 300kgs more than part of the RMB0.6 / KG charged;

3, after the withdrawal, if the consignor to provide complete and effective battery information required to re-shipment, will receive an operating fee of RMB40 / vote.
