Saudi Arabia - Customs Clearance requirements for Mobile Phones, Parts and Accessories

Please be informed that with effective immediate, Saudi Arabia Customs have imposed the following requirements for consignments containing Mobile Phones, phone parts and their accessories.

Mobile Phones, parts and accessories regardless of quantities require the following documentation in order to be imported into Saudi Arabia:

1.Original Commercial Invoice attested by Chamber of Commerce.

2.Certificate of Origin issued by Chamber of Commerce.

3.Certificate of Conformity issued by a  recognised company of SASO (Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization).

Failure to supply all required documentation prior to consignments arriving in a Saudi Arabia Gateway will result in clearance delays and the potential of their return to origin.
