The Philippine Customs has enacted a restriction on the increase in import allowances
Since October 26, 2016, the Philippine Customs has promulgated to increase the import allowance limit from 10 pesos to 10,000 pesos. Goods imported to the Philippines, FOB or Free Carrier (FCA) amount of not more than 10,000 pesos (about 200 US dollars) of imported goods will not be taxed.
